The lyrics to this song were written by my best friend of nearly 50 years, Kerry Belk. He wrote this one about the two of us both as best friends when we were young and then, after 35 years of complete disconnect, we reconnected and it was as if we had never been separated when we were kids. "Have you felt the rain and tamed the restless wind?"

I decided to record this song thinking there are a LOT of people out there who can certainly relate to this kind of a song. People who have gone through the same kind of emotional wreckage and had their heart basically pulled unceremoniously from their chest. It was a difficult time, but also far into the past now, so something I feel quite comfortable sharing now. I hope you enjoy!
