I've always loved this song and decided to record my version of it. Gregg Allman told the story in an article of how he came to name this song. Long story short, he named it after a little girl in a convenience store. Good article. Look it up sometime and in the meantime, please enjoy my version of "Sweet Melissa".

This was a song I hadn't really planned to record, but then a friend said he was going to learn it. I gave it a listen and decided to try it in a more male-friendly key using a special capo and emulating DADGAD tuning, so here is my version of "Don't Know Why". Hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun recording it!

I've always loved this song whether the Old Crow Medicine Show version or Darius Rucker's version - I think both are superb. So, here I created my own version of this iconic song and hope I did it some justice. The chorus was written by Bob Dylan in 1973 and Ketch Secor added the verses 25 years later. :-D
